A devastating fire broke out on the Indian Navy’s INS Brahmaputra, a Brahmaputra-class frigate, in the early hours of Saturday, July 23, at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai.
According to sources, the fire started around 2:00 AM in the ship’s engine room and quickly spread to other areas. The Navy’s fire-fighting teams and local fire brigades responded swiftly, containing the blaze after a grueling four-hour operation.
