This joint EEZ patrol underscores the Indian Navy’s commitment to cooperative maritime security in the region.

Upon arrival, INS Sunayna received a warm welcome from the MCG Dornier and the Mauritius Police Force Band. The ship’s three-day visit includes a range of professional and social interactions, harbour training for MCG personnel, community service, a medical camp, and sports activities.

In celebration of International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2024, a joint yoga session was held onboard INS Sunayna and MCG Barracuda at Port Louis, bringing together personnel from the Indian Navy and the National Coast Guard of Mauritius. Over 200 participants, including members of the Indian diaspora and the High Commission of India, took part in the event, promoting holistic wellness and harmony.
